Frequently Asked Questions
How often is the data updated?
Bank financial data (call reports) is updated quarterly, typically 60–90 days after the quarter ends, once the FDIC publishes finalized data. Macro economic series are updated on their native schedules (monthly for CPI and unemployment, weekly for some Fed data).
Is the data accurate?
All data is sourced directly from official public regulatory filings (FDIC, EBA, OSFI, PRA) and government agencies (Treasury, Fed, BLS). We apply validation checks during ingestion but do not modify the reported figures. Our Data Sources page provides full provenance details.
Can I use this data for commercial purposes?
The underlying data is public domain. Our platform adds analytics, visualizations, and derived metrics on top. Please review our Terms of Service for details on usage rights and the API.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Visit Settings to manage your subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. If you cancel a Pro subscription, you retain Pro access until the end of your billing period.
I found a data error. How do I report it?
We take data quality seriously. If you spot an error, please contact us through the Settings page or email us directly. Include the bank name (or cert number), the metric in question, and the expected value.

Banking Intelligence works on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend using the latest version for the best experience.

Yes. The platform is fully responsive. On mobile devices, the sidebar navigation is accessible via the hamburger menu. Charts and tables adapt to smaller screens.
What is the Quarterly Report?
The Quarterly Report is an auto-generated research publication that analyzes system-wide trends: top improvers, risk watch lists, efficiency leaders, and narrative analysis. It is updated each quarter when new data arrives.
